I hope Singapore win tmr, hopefully. Because honestly speaking, they are really lucky to beat Malaysia the other day. Scoring their equaliser against the run of play. And the soft penaly by Shi Jia yi, luckily the opposing keeper is even softer than Lewis. 50000 hearts pumping becos of that. But sadly, unable to go National stadium to support them tmr, cos no one wants to go. I shall keep it at that.
Anyway, sometimes i really wonder, whether its a good thing to think that much. After all, what can I achieve after all that thinking. Will I improve as a person? Will I not forget what I have thought about? When mistakes are repeated, wouldnt it be better to not think about anything at all?
Perhaps you will be happier if you dont think that much. Perhaps things do not get complicated. Perhaps you wont know things that you wont want to know or hear.
But still, I would think.. for what? I dunno..
or maybe i know..

Sometimes i really wonder if im worrying about the wrong things.. Throughout the world, there are people dying.. Soldiers in Iraq worrying about wheres the next shot going to come.. Famine in africa causing people to worry about wheres their next meal.. Even our dear neighbours in Johor worrying about the flood and their livelihood.. In comparison, my worries seems so minor.. so minor that its not even worth mentioning. And yet, theses are the worries that flood my mind.. stop me from sleeping.. make me wake up.. affect my mood..
We should all think of the greater cause right? Or is selfishness the right way to be?
We should all think of the greater cause right? Or is selfishness the right way to be?
How do you deal with uncertainty? How do you deal with fear? How do you deal with an unavoidable loss?
I have no idea.. I seriously have no idea..
Will you try to stop it from happening? What if you knew that no matter what you do, you cant prevent it, nor change the outcome? That the outcome will definitely not be one that you wish for? Then is praying the only thing you can do, even when you know praying doesnt help?
What can I do...

Was at national stadium, one of the 55,000 fans cheering for the Singapore team against Malaysia. And theres plenty of actions, not just on the pitch, but on the stands as well, the wonders of being in the gallery section. Heres some of the antics..
The Kallang wave!! The wave that washed everything away.. to the extent that rubbish went flying in the air whenever the wave passed by haha.. yesh.. rubbish in the air haha..
The sky heard our prayers.. rain stopping shortly after the match started, and resumed immediately after the match ended.. they were prepared for extra time i guessed haha..
The hilarious commentary behind me.. shouting vulgarities at every action they see, and then providing funny explanations of whats happening hhaa..
The jeering of budoh after every whistle.. the crowd sure are united in this haha..
The jeering of the Malaysian fans when they cheered.. that spreaded from those diehard Spore fans near them, to the other end of the stadium.. and then u see the police gathering there as well..
Planes.. yup planes made out of the free nike posters.. And the crowd cheered the planes that managed to stay in the air.. with claps that followed when it landed haha..
The booooo.. for every malaysia spotkick.. and the silence behind every spore spotkick.. and the cheers after every Spore goal!!
The hysterical celebrations that followed the last penalty kick.. ole ole...
And theres this mysterious bird.. or bat.. thats flying above the stadium.. not sure if anyone noticed it..

Sometimes it just frustrates me so much.. after almost 5 years, I thought I would have learned. I thought so. But once again, the immaturity in my thoughts failed me.
There are just so many things flowing through my head now.
We make millions and possibly billions of decisions in our lifetime. Most of the times, we make the correct decisions, but sometimes, we do make some wrong ones. I used to think that, as long as the decision feels right at that moment of time, with it being the best possible options that I would have at that moment, even if at a later time I felt I was wrong, I would be able to live with it. That I did my best. But I am wrong. Along some part of your life, there will always be some things that you did wrong, and whats worse is, you realised it only after you did it. And by then, someone would have been hurt by you. Its irrepairable. Irreversible.
I have this inate ability, to hurt people close to me. I was immature then. I am still immature now. My level of thinking, the way I think, the way I act, and the way I act without thinking. I always tell myself to put myself in others' shoes. But I always forget. And when I finally remember, its too late.
I am too self-centred for my own liking. I expressed my thoughts, with no consideration for others. I failed in seeing from others viewpoint. I was always one sided. And one-sidedness always resulted in unhappiness. And I dont readily accept unhappiness from others. Till a later date. When things would have gotten worse already.
My mood is just too volatile. Like a turbulence. I never know when it will go down or up. Perhaps being void of emotions would have done the people around me more good.
Sometimes it just pissed me off when I try to organise outings.
A lot of ppl dont even have the basic courtesy to reply. Seriously, what is your problem? what is your problem that you only reply me when u need something from me? And that I need to even extend a red carpet for you to come? And then on the actual day, you msg me that you cant make it. Or worse still, you dont even bother to inform me. And then there are people who complain about this and that. Why come here? Why do that? And I would like to ask you, if you have an opinion, say it before I organise it! Or organise it yourself! Or write to the ST forum. Or cry to your mama. Dont come complaining to me as if I did something wrong.

Some interesting quotes:
"A man falls in love through his eyes, a woman through her ears". ~ Leo Tolstoy
"Always love your enemies - nothing annoys them so much." ~ Oscar Wilde
"But love, I've come to understand, is more than three words mumbled before bedtime. Love is sustained by action, a pattern of devotion in the things we do for each other every day." ~ Nicholas Sparks in The Wedding
"Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love". ~ Neil Gaiman
"If a person loves only one other person and is indifferent to the rest of his fellow men, his love is not love but a symbiotic attachment, or an enlarged egotism."
Erich Fromm, Art of Loving (1957)
"If somebody says, "I love you," to me, I feel as though I had a pistol pointed at my head. What can anybody reply under such conditions but that which the pistol-holder requires? "I love you, too." ~ Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. in Wampeters, Foma and Granfalloons, "Address at Dedication of Wheaton College Library, 1973" (1974).
"Love is a minefield. You take a step and get blown to pieces, put yourself back together again and stupidly take another step. I guess that's human nature. It hurts so much to be alone that we'd all rather blow up than be single". ~ Kate Welles (Famke Janssen) in Love & Sex (2000)
"Relationships are a matrix of complexities composed of time, effort, and that mystical thing called love. Sometimes you have a good mixture of the right ingredients, baked to perfection, and cooled with tender affection, and other times your trying to spend 5 minutes cooking sand." ~ Leo D. Williams
"To him she seemed so beautiful, so seductive, so different from ordinary people, that he could not understand why no one was as disturbed as he by the clicking of her heels on the paving stones, why no one else's heart was wild with the breeze stirred by the sighs of her veils, why everyone did not go mad with the movements of her braid, the flight of her hands, the gold of her laughter. He had not missed a single one of her gestures, not one of the indications of her character, but he did not dare approach her for fear of destroying the spell". ~ Gabriel García Márquez
"We waste time looking for the perfect lover, instead of creating the perfect love". ~ Tom Robbins in "Still Life With Woodpecker"
"When someone hurts you, cry a river, Build a bridge and get over it!". ~Richard Middleton
"You know when you listen to music playing from another room? And you're singing along because it's a tune that you really love? When a door closes or a train passes by so you can't hear the music anymore, but you sing along anyway...then, no matter how much time passes, when you hear the music again, you're still in the exact same time with it. That's what love is like." ~ Anonymous

Memories
People who are still alive can create new memories with you, however, people who have gone can never do that with us again.
Memories are an important aspect of human's relationship.
When you have memories with someone, many memories.. deep memories.. the relationship forged will be hard to forget. When memories are created together, it can bring you through many difficult situations, it can make u forgo a lot of things, just becos you want those memories to be recreated again.
When you share memories, be it going through your secondary school life together, being tekan by ur instructors in the army, or working through a tough yet happy time together, these memories will bring you togther, and strengthen your relationship.
Memories make us who we are.
And memories make us.
So lets create more memories.
While we still can.
While we still can.

Wah.. I jus realised my speakers are put in the wrong position, left on the right and vice versa. And I realised this after more than a year -_-
Its amazing how sometimes we get so used to some things, that we assume that it will remain that way, only to realise we do not dictate it, nor are we in control of how it will change. And that, sometimes, is fearful.
I suppose we should all realise, that we are not in control of a lot of things. Things happen. And when things happen, we do not really have to search for a reason. Things can just happen. Whats important is how we deal with it. And we DO have choices available to us, even if sometimes, all choices seemed unfavorable.
Life is after all, about making choices.
My current nick: 7-eleven.. do you understand?

Quoted fr Rocky VI:
The world aint all sunshine and rainbows..
Its a very mean and nasty place and I dont care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
You, me or nobody, is going to hit as hard as life.
Its aint about how hard you are hit.
Its about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward.
How much you can take, and keep moving forward.
That hows the way it is done.
Now you know what you are worth, now go out and get what you are worth.
But you got to be worth to take the hits. And not pointing fingers say you aint where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody.
Cowards do that, and that aint you.
You are better than that.

Religion
Man believe in different religion since a long time ago. They believe in the existence of a greater being, a greater power that controls everything in their life. But is that belief justified?
Rationality can be used to explain many things, but not religion. People are non-rational when it comes to religion, when they believe in something they cannot see, cannot feel, and not even know of how it existed, except from knowledge passed down, or books passed down. And even such things, are created by people themselves.
It is perhaps man's own needs to explain everything in life. And to have a scaregoat that they create religion. When certain things cannot be explained in life, they put it to the existence of a greater power than themselves. When things go wrong, they say its fate. They say its a test. This way, the uncertainty becomes certainty, and things become more acceptable.
The point is, a lot of things in life, depends on yourself. Its in your own hands, your own fate. We should not try to divert that fact away. We should have control over our own fate. It is not decided by someone else.

If your life is a show.. then who is your main cast? Who is your side cast?
Throughout your life..There are people who stayed throughout, like your family, and a few of your close friends.. Those that you know for quite a few years.. And will still keep in contact many years later..They may not be in every single episodes.. But they appear every now and then..
Then there are those, who appeared only in a certain period of your life. They came.. and they left.. Sometimes you wished many of them will remain your main cast, but somehow, time took them away.. because you will eventually lose contact with a lot of them.
Right now, Im one semester away from graduation. I made a lot of friends in my uni life. From my class, from my og, from my union side. But.. once i leave this school in half a year time, when my uni life come to an end, Im afraid that a lot of people will leave my life too. This life that Im so used to, will be gone. The friends that I made here, will eventually lose contact with me. A lot of good friends here.
And there are those in my life since early days. Since i was borned. I had my first funeral last month. My Ah Gong left 4 days after my birthday..
I dont like funerals. Its too saddening, especially when its someone u know..
Tears.. Tears on a lot of people.. The priests said to call out to my AhGong when his fragile body was carried to the coffin. But I couldnt even call out..
Thinking back.. Im glad I went to see him that day.. Im glad I got my dad to go too.. that I saw him on that day, before he passed away.. or maybe he have been waiting for us all along..
Im sad.. abit sad..
