On wednesday, one of my colleagues in another team had a fit. I was seated far away thus was spared the agony of seeing her. But I was overcome by a sense of uselessness. I could only see from afar, not being of help anymore, the only thing I could do is google.

This will be my first resolution of new year, learn life-saving skills by Q1 2010. I don't want to remain a passerby anymore.

She was pretty, she used to climb trees. She made jewelry for her family for Christmas. She was the single mother of a son she loved. She tried her hardest, but just like the rest of us, she made mistakes. And we forgave her for them, just like we forgive you.

I'm a Firefighter/First Responder, and I google their names because I couldn't save them.

I work in the ICU and Google almost all of my patients. I found out one patient adored her granddaughters more than anything, so I made sure that her granddaughters were allowed in before anyone else.

relationship requires a lot of scarifices.

Some people may think its romantic or that the couple is very loving when one scarifice his/her time for the other. eg when one cant join a certain activies because he/she doesnt want to leave the other half out. Thats what I used to think too, but now it irks me.

It irks me because you kind of lose a lot of things by doing the so-called "scarifices". And that applies for both parties, because there are just so many restrictions you have to impose on yourself. You put off a trip because of such "rules". You cant do this, nor that. Is this really the best for both parties?

Imagine the possibilities that would have come.
Imagine the chances you would have miss.
Imagine looking back after 10years, and you can't go through your life twice.

There would be so many regrets in life.
Relationship doesn't have to be locked. It is only when free that both parties will enjoy their lives inside and outside.

We are humans. We all yearn to be free.
I realise that now.
