Time is never enough when you start working. And time is ending for me today, given that I normally sleep by 10pm, I have 4hrs left for my weekend. omg~!!! only 4 hrs???????????? Definitely not enough. Theres so many things that I want to do.. ok, maybe not many, just want to nua, and nua some more. oh manz..

Theres a couple of movie I wanna watch within the next few wks. Hero, always liked his show; he just got a certain style of character that appeals to me. No, i'm not into guys, which kinda reminds me of the time when my japanese colleagues started laughing, when I rattled off some male artistes from Johnny Entertainment.

Another show I wanna watch is Golden Compass, just because it starred Nicole Kidman. She's one of my fav actors/actresses, alongside Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington. This list is excluding Japanese stars by the way.

Time to start planning for activities too, now that many of my friends are ending their exams.

The msn nick of one of my fren's cousin read

'Who win me in exam I will write his name into Death Note'

Hes in Pri4 by the way.. haha..
Marketing has always been about being creative, and trying to catch people's attention. Was walking along city link when I saw this Canon advertising campaign, a 1.5m x 5m window along the walls in front of hmv and NewyorkNewyork. And in each window(there are about 4 of them), 2 models were "trying out" canon products, cameras and printers. Certainly attention grabbing; marketing is about creating new ways of reaching the target audience, as they got used to regular advisetising methods.

Relationship also needs the marketing element to survive. Newer and surprising ways of making your partner happy is always needed. If things get predictable, thats when you make your competition looks relatively interesting, and things can go haywire. Do whatever you can to surprise him/her once in a while, even if its stupid things like giving her Anything drink, or a box of chocolate out of nowhere. Or even a small photo album of u and ur partner.

Remember, meeting expectations make people satisfied. Exceeding expectations make people happy.

Not sure how u guys think, but when a friend who seldom contact u calls you up, and want to introduce you to financial planning, whats your reaction or thoughts? I particularly don't like this type of behaviour, and I wont buy from this type of person even if I want to. I mean.. don't try to be friendly with me only when you see something to be gained from it. Friendship shouldn't be used in this way I think.

Anyway, I was at Orchid Country Club yesterday, for paintball~! Its ex considering the little amount of time we spent in the field itself, but its fun =0 With a little bit of blood on my finger, I also got headshot in the first round. AT least I have my revenge in the last round, firing at a director 3 rounds haha.. Heng I'm not under him =P

Its weekend le~! Time really passed by when you are working, and I'm already here for almost 3 months (can take paid mc liao haha..). And also started working OT, but will still try to leave as early as I can anyway. At least I did that for the past 2 days, but it really depends on how much work I have, and how fast I do it. And within such a short time, I already have a colleague quit just two months into the job.

Toro just climbed onto my lap, an image that made me looked like those pro writers with their pets, either dog or cat, on their lap while they are in the process of completing another bestsellers. Hes 4yrs old by the way.

I yearn to travel, overseas, whether for work or play. I wanna see the world, go to different cities every week. I want to do these without any worries. Just like yellowstone. Once in a while, I would watch the webcam there, Old Faithful is still faithfully churning out water. And ya, its snowing already. The wooden boardwalk covered by snow, not a human in sight unlike those summer days. Travel~!!!

It is man's ability to remember that sets us apart
We are the only species concerned with the past
Our memories give us voice
They bear witness to history so that others might learn
So they might celebrate our triumphs
And be warned of our failure

There are many ways to define our fragile existence
Many ways to give it meaning
But it is our memories that shape its purpose
And give it context
The private assortment of images, fears, loves, regrets
For it is the cruel irony of life
That we are destined to hold the dark with the light
The good with the evil
Success with disappointment
This is what separates us
What makes us human
And in the end
We must fight to hold on to it

Feelings of contradiction.

Want you to do well yet afraid of giving you too much stress..
Want to spend more time with you yet afraid that you are not spending enough time with books..
Want to keep you company, and yet do not want to distract you..
Hope I can be there for you, yet afraid theres only so much I can do.
Its strange not to join the majority of my frens at school, for the first time in 3 years. Wouldn't say I miss it, but then, its still kinda fun going to school, hog a tutorial room, study whole day, go back home slp, and repeat the whole process again for a month. Well.. things always seemed fun when its in the past and I'm not suffering now.

Good luck to those who are studying for the exams now.. and you shouldnt be reading this post either. Get back to study~!!!

I traded on yahoo auction for quite some time now, and I noticed theres really an array of non-genuine products being put up there. I dont mean un-orginal ones, but those that are meant to cheat people of their money. Heres a few non-brainers.. on how to spot one.

The ratings.
Anything in single digits are best avoided. And in many cases, the ratings on some cheats are rated by accounts they set up themselves. Just take a look at the names, and you will realise these accounts have ratings made among themselves. As such, only ratings made by people with high ratings can be relied on. Real sellers will always try to avoid having even one bad rating for their business.

Location.
If its overseas, theres a likelyhood that they will want payment before goods are sent(Refer to below). Furthermore, many cheaters are based overseas.

Way of Payment.
Anything less than a cash and goods exchange, and you should be cautious.

Lastly.. if it sounds too good to be true, it most probably is. Scammers put products at low price to attract people.
Heres an extract fr the staits times this morning, from an article by neil humphreys, talking to a call centre.

--The call was transferred to Mohamed, who was clearly working from an office in India. I know this because Mohamed has been trained to trick you into thinking that the conversation is not an inevitable consequence of globalisation and an inconvenient, long distance conversation. Mohamed will localised everything to somehow suggest that he is in the next town, rather than in a tiny office cubivle in Mumbai.

"You'll have to unplug all the phones while we check the line," says Mohamed, in a broad accent. "Lovely weather today, isn't it?"

"Actually, it's just started snowing."

"Oh yes. That's what I mean. Nice and cool. We need that after all that humidity."

"We've had floods for the past six weeks. And that plague of locusts nearly wiped out the town."

"Er, yes, they did. Terrible, wasn't it? Those locusts... We will have to disconnect your line 'temporarily'"

-- Funny isn't it? All this while Neil was actually at home, in Singapore haha..

A picture from my company training the other time, with the puzzle we all piece together.

Saw the article by Catherine, which calls for more political freedom in Singapore.

To be honest, I'm guilty of being one of those they call passive citizens. From my point of view, as long as they do their job well, I dont see any reason for change. After all, if its aint broken, dont fix it.

Few things to ponder..

...Saw a motorbike rider olong the aye just now, and he was standing on his bike. And you wonder why motorbike deaths are on the upward trend..

...On another note, not sure if u notice, sunset recently are quite nice. Take some time out to enjoy it, really.

...Sometimes, for any types of competition, we are too focused on what others will do, that we lose concentration on what is really important to win. That is, to do well in what you are doing, because without that, you will stand no chance at all. So.. dont worry about the competition, focus on urself, focus on what u should do, what u want to do, and do it well. Then.. things will naturally take care of itself.

...Recent comments on lee-sters really show how far they are from commoners in spore. Disappointing actually.

father lee said it took 20mins to go from any part of singapore to another. I think hes the only one who can do that.

son lee said recently he saw every mrts going towards town are fully packed. My fren made a good point: "you mean nobody ever told him about that?"

Maybe.. cos he didnt know meesiam no hum also.

Kudos to pap and hdb.. took a year to finally get the lifts working. But its still not finished, works on the lift at my side of the flat have not even started. Great.. having to endure two years of constructions, right after the general election is over. The world is full of facade.
I'm addicted.
You got me addicted.
And now I'm suffering all the side effects of it.

The desire to see you the moment I wake up.
Yearning to see u everyone day.
To do so many things with you.
To have you in my hands as we walk.
To include you in the future that I dream of.
The joy of sharing things with you.
The fear that someone, somewhere, somehow may just take you away from me.
The irony of wanting u to be happy always, and yet afraid that you find happiness somewhere else.

Love is like a drug. You would never have enough.

A few sights that I saw today.

At Bukit Merah Hawker.. A bird, standing on one leg, not because hes strong.. but becos hes dragging his other leg which is in a awkward. Very ke lian.. jumping around on the one leg he have, and I really wonder what happened. Was it a car.. was it a dog.. or was it one stupid human.. Was reminded of the bird I saw at yellowstone too, one which walked towards a oncoming car, right in front of me. Just one split second, and I saw feathers flying, the bird, featherless, just like in bugs bunny.

Labrador Park is a good place to watch a sunset. And for a private bbq. For its less crowded than East Coast. A more peaceful place really. Just need to take a long walk in.

Was walking around in BP plaza, and walked past osim. The 2 salesperson on duty, was without their shoes, sitting right in front, their feets in the comfort of Usqueeze. Funny sight haa.. should have taken a photo and submit it for a contest.

Think the constant staring at the screen every day is taking its toll at me. Actually felt nausea towards the end, so I just went straight home after work. Not sure if its bad, cos I seems to always leave work earlier than most people. But then again.. I always reach earlier than everyone else too.
