Finally put this up after a long long time. Did this puzzle with Kris while we were in yellowstone, had to dismantle it when we were coming back. But with the help of my sis, I finally got this up.

I realised something about going out on Friday nights, and specially into the late night. Weekends actually feel so much longer, at least for me, because after playing for one whole night, I still have 2 days to nua haa..

I like this =)
This post is dedicated to the sharks.. there is a report on this in the straits times today.

Despite the vast recognition that sharks population is rapidly decreasing, people still continue to consume them, and think of them as delicacies, even though they have little or no nutrition at all. Its quite ridiculous actually, humans are supposed to be smarter than that.

One of my friends will be having her wedding dinner in Sep, initially she was saying she will try not to have the fins served at her wedding, but in the end, she doesnt have the courage or will to say no.

Facts:

1. Sharks face over-fishing and their population is diminishing rapidly, four top predators - te hammerhead, blue, porbeagle and thresher sharks - have been decimated by 96 to 99.9 per cent since the 1800s.

2. Main cause of the overpopulation are the demand of shark fins mainly in China and Japan.

3. Millions of sharks are "finned" every year and their bodies dumped at sea, because shark meat has low value and takes up hold space meant for more valuable species like tuna. And because fishing ships can take a lot of fins, rather than the whole shark, a lot more sharks are killed.

4. A wildlife group on Wednesday presented a new study to back its claim that shark fin soup in Thailand contains mercury poison, an allegation that provoked a $2.6 million lawsuit by the sellers of the Chinese delicacy. The San Francisco-based conservation group, WildAid, said it will submit the study conducted by a leading Thai laboratory to a Bangkok civil court as part of its defense in the lawsuit.

5. A Strait Times report that 30 in 120 Chinese wedding banquets didnt serve shark's fin soup.

Just finished another japanese drama, Zettai Kareshi

Zettai Kareshi, in jap, means Absolute Boyfriend. There is no one that can be the absolute boyfriend, unless he is not human, and thats what this drama is about.

Heres the synosis:
Robot maker, Kronos Heaven, finally develops "Night Tenjo", the perfect male humanoid programmed to be devoted and completely loyal to his lover. The company chooses temp worker Izawa Riko to take part in a 5-day free trial. At first, Riko only sees Night as a household appliance. But when she finds out how deep Night's devotion to herself is, Riko finds herself falling in love with him. Joining the love triangle is Asamoto Soshi, a distinguished young executive at her company who has feelings for her.

This is what its all about:

At first look, it doesn't really seem such a good show, but I find myself being drawn into the character of Night (the robot) as each episodes passed, when he slowly develop a conscious, and try to win over Riiko's heart; becoming more and more human; less and less robot. And ultimately, you will find yourself rooting for him.

A really touching story towards the end..catch it

Life has been boring. Even my friend said Im boring.. arghhhh..... when did I get so bored??? To the extent that I can actually feel my life being stagnant. STAGNANT.. like a mosquito nest..

This is not the way to go man.. need to change.

Change my life.

Seriously, I dont want any of my close friends to sell insurance or financial plans. Its irritating, and disappointing, to get a call from someone, saying he wants to catch up with you, and at the same time, maybe could share with you the importance of saving early etc. In my opinion, this is not the right way to go about it, making use of relations. Dont be a lowly being.

Been a while since the last post, I haven finish writing about the Japan trip and I went off on the Ipoh trip last wkend. Shiok haha..

Went over to Wanshang hse with qianni, with him driving around, eating and travelling. We went to Gua Tempurung, a limestone cave in Ipoh, where we hiked and climbed through the cave to the other side of the hill. It was really amazing, first time embarking on this type of hike, bringing a torchlight and following the guide in front. we had to walk on the river, climb up, and slide down the slopes, climbed through a hole, etc.. Wanshang lost his slipper in the river, me and qianni slippers broke, we had to climbed bearfooted admist the bat shit. In all, it took 4hours, 20+ringgit, but total fun.

Next up is Cameron Highland, cool weather, fresh strawberries, tea plantations, rose farms, pasar malam etc. Weather there is simply shiok, no sweat haa.. Its my first time there, in all its a nice place to rest and relax, which is exactly what we do there. And of course, not to forget the coke that wanshang n qianni drank haha..

The other 2 days was spent in Ipoh itself, going around shopping and eating. We had a feast of vegetarian food because his mum was a fantastic cook, all types of vegetarian food including a steamboat. And the trip become a fattening one by the sheer amount of food.

And of course, rushing off after work, and returning on the morning of work, fully utilising my weekend time.. this is the type of life Im seeking, 青春不流白~!

Thanks guys~!
